Professionals Know it’s all About Accountability
The subject I want to share with you is Professionals Know it’s all About Accountability. There is a lot to be said about accountability by so many in more sectors of life that I would care to quote, let alone investigate. But what I have learned about accountability is that true accountability is a situation in which someone is responsible for the things that happen because of certain decisions you make based on the actions you take. And those that are truly accountable that whatever things happen because of a decision taken, if you can’t give a satisfactory reason for the outcome, you are simply accountable. Full stop.
Now it that sounds somewhat harsh to you, then consider the words I have used here in this context. Because this is how I personally view accountability. And I’ve had more than 70 years to form that view.
So let me make it simple for you and bring it down to the lowest denominator. The easiest way to begin on your personal journey of accountability is for the next day, the next week and the next month take some personal ownership in your present sales effort and your selling results.
Now translate everything I’ve said to your overall effort today and all of your overall efforts in future, because whatever you decide to do, it’s all about personal accountability, isn’t it? And that’s why I say, Professionals Know it’s all About Accountability.
