Your Success is Determined by Your Attitude

Today’s message is titled, “Your Success is Determined by Your Attitude.” And this is not only an important message, but to many of us, this is a timely message.

Why? Simply because, whether you succeed or fail in selling mostly depends on your attitude, and not what you are told, or what others are doing – and this is never more obvious than when you are in times of being challenged.

Now this is something all salespeople should remember, because in the good times, we don’t seem to pay much attention to our attitude, but, because challenges are constant in our lives, and if we are to succeed in life’s challenges, we must keep our attitude positive, especially in times of crisis. This is, because most of the time, we are either moving into, moving in, or moving out of a crisis.

So the more challenges you face, or the more challenges you can foresee over the horizon, the more you’ll need to check your attitude.

The dictionary describes attitude as: a manner, a disposition, a feeling, or a position, with regard to a person or thing or tendency or orientation – that is a process especially of the mind: and your attitude is a process especially of the mind. Moreover, you determine the nature of your attitude, whether its a positive attitude, a negative attitude or a group instilled attitude – either from your family, or from your work environment. Even television, radio and videos can help forge our attitude.

So nurture your attitude on a daily basis – and keep it positive – and keep it growing.
